What Cita Ping is
Cita Ping is an independent service that watches the official cita previa website — the system behind every NIE, TIE, fingerprint, and residence appointment in Spain — and alerts you the moment a slot opens.
What we can help with
Most of the messages we receive are about setting up a monitor, choosing the right procedure or office, troubleshooting alerts that did not arrive, or questions about billing and account access. We are happy to walk you through the dashboard, explain why a particular monitor is or is not catching slots, and help you broaden or narrow its scope to match your situation.
If you have a question about which procedure category your case falls under (Oficina de Extranjería vs Comisaría de Policía Nacional), or which province is most likely to have slots for you, we can usually point you in the right direction based on what we see across the system.
Languages and response times
Our support team replies in English, Spanish, and Russian — write in whichever you are most comfortable with. Most messages get a reply within 24 hours on weekdays, and faster during European business hours. If your message is about a missed alert or an active monitor, mention the affected email or monitor name so we can look it up quickly.
What we cannot help with
Cita Ping is a monitoring tool, not an immigration service. We cannot book appointments on your behalf — only the official cita previa site can do that — and we cannot give legal advice on your specific case, file paperwork for you, or interact with the gob.es system as your representative. For legal questions about NIE, residence, or visa eligibility, please consult a qualified Spanish immigration lawyer or your local Oficina de Extranjería.
If you contact us about a problem with the official site itself (a slot disappeared mid-booking, a 790 receipt was rejected, an Extranjería office told you to come back later), we can sympathise but we do not have any influence with the Spanish government. The official site's behaviour is outside our control.
Frequently asked questions
- Does Cita Ping book appointments for me?
- No. We send you an alert when a slot opens, and you book it yourself on the official website. Cita Ping is an independent service and never touches the booking system on your behalf.
- How fast are the alerts?
- Telegram alerts usually arrive within seconds of a slot appearing. Email takes a little longer because mail servers add their own delays. Enabling both gives you the best chance.
- Why do appointments disappear so fast?
- More people need appointments than the offices can serve, especially in the big provinces. There is no queue — the first person to submit the form gets the slot. That is why an instant alert beats refreshing the page by hand.
- Is Cita Ping an official government service?
- No. Cita Ping is an independent service with no connection to the Spanish government, the police, or any immigration office. We tell you when appointments appear; the booking itself always happens on the official site.
- Can I monitor multiple offices or procedures at once?
- Yes. Each monitor watches one procedure and office combination, and you can run several at once. Every monitor sends its own alerts.
